Compassion is NOT a weakness. The ability to empathize is ONE of the reasons humanity is still going on. If you have a problem with “nice, “compassionate” people–than go screw yourself. Compassion is what is going to pick you off the side of the road, give you a drink of water, give you shade and a piece of bread to eat when you are hungry. ARGH.
